Medical staff from both the WHO and UNICEF assess Marka General Hospital's facilities and general working conditions. In particular, both organizations were responding to several reported cases of cholera and dengue fever in the city. While one suspected case of cholera still remained, all other patients suffering from the two diseases had already been treated and discharged, eliminating the need for any immediate intervention.
